How to package PU feather stones
The packaging of PU feather stone needs to fully consider its material characteristics, that is, the texture is relatively soft and easy to scratch, and the shape may be irregular, with fragile edges, to ensure that it is not damaged during transportation and storage. The following are the specific steps and methods for packaging PU feather stones:
Single product protection
Soft material wrapping: First, wrap each PU feather stone separately with bubble wrap. The buffering performance of bubble wrap can effectively reduce the impact force of collisions on feather stones. Wrap the bubble wrap tightly around the feather stone to ensure that all surfaces, especially the prominent texture and edges, are fully protected. For areas with particularly delicate textures or sharp edges, a layer of soft sponge can be placed first, and then wrapped in bubble wrap to enhance protection.
Paper or plastic box storage: After wrapping the bubble wrap, put the PU feather stone into a suitable size paper or plastic box. The size of the box should be just enough to accommodate feather stones and avoid shaking inside the box. If there is no suitable ready-made box, you can use cardboard to make a simple paper box and securely pack the feather stones inside.
Multiple product combination packaging
Customized tray placement: For bulk packaging, customized trays can be used. The material of the tray can be wood, plastic or paper, and grooves or partition areas are designed on top according to the shape and size of PU feather stones, so that each feather stone can be placed tightly and neatly in the corresponding position, preventing collision and friction with each other. Place the individually packaged PU feather stones into the tray one by one, ensuring a tight and stable arrangement.
Filling buffer materials: fill the remaining space in the tray with buffer materials such as foam particles, shredded paper strips or inflatable bags, and further fix the feather stones to prevent damage due to shaking during transportation. The filling should be tight, but do not excessively squeeze the feather stones to avoid deformation.
External packaging reinforcement
Carton packaging: Place the tray filled with PU feather stones into a cardboard box of appropriate size. The cardboard box should have a certain strength and thickness to withstand the pressure during transportation. If the size of the cardboard box is large, one or more layers of partitions can be added inside to separate the pallets and avoid squeezing each other.
Tape sealing and labeling: Use high-strength tape to tightly seal the cardboard box, ensuring that it will not come loose during transportation. Attach a product label in a prominent position on the cardboard box, indicating the product name, specifications, quantity, fragile label, handle with care, etc., to remind the handling personnel to pay attention to protection.
Wooden frame (optional): For long-distance transportation or fragile PU feather stone products, wooden frames can be placed on the outside of the cardboard box to provide additional protection. The frame of the wooden frame should be sturdy and fixed with nails or screws, completely wrapping the cardboard box inside the frame to reinforce and prevent collision.
