How to package carbon crystal panel?

14-03-2025

The packaging of carbon crystal plates needs to fully consider factors such as protecting the plates from damage, facilitating transportation and storage. The following are the general steps and methods for packaging carbon crystal plates:

1. Inner protective packaging

Plastic film wrapping: Firstly, wrap each carbon crystal plate separately with a layer of plastic film. This layer of film can play a role in moisture and dust prevention, preventing dust and water vapor from adhering to the surface of the board and affecting its quality during subsequent packaging and transportation. Choose plastic film with moderate thickness and good toughness to ensure a tight fit on the surface of the board without leaving any gaps.

Foam pad protection: place foam pad around the carbon crystal plate wrapped with plastic film. The foam cushion has good cushioning performance, which can effectively absorb the impact force that may be generated during transportation and prevent the edges and corners of the plate from being damaged due to collision. The thickness of the foam pad is determined according to the thickness and vulnerability of the plate, generally about 1-3 cm.

2. Stacking and fixing

Neat stacking: Carbon crystal plates that have been protected by inner layers are neatly stacked together in a certain quantity. The number of each stack should be determined based on the size, weight, and carrying capacity of the subsequent handling equipment. Generally, 10-20 pieces are recommended per stack for easy handling and counting.

Steel or plastic strapping fixation: Use steel or plastic strapping to bundle and fix stacked carbon crystal plates, ensuring that the plates will not loosen during handling and transportation. The strapping should be tightened and evenly distributed around the stack of boards, usually tied every 30-50 centimeters.

3. Outer packaging

Carton packaging (suitable for small-sized boards): For small-sized carbon crystal boards, the fixed boards can be stacked in customized cartons. The size of the cardboard box should be slightly larger than the stack of boards, with a reserved space of 2-3 centimeters around it for filling with cushioning materials. The remaining space in the carton is filled with cushioning materials such as foam particles and air cushions to further enhance the protection of the board. The specifications, models, quantities, and other information of the board should be indicated on the outside of the cardboard box.

Wooden crate packaging (suitable for large-sized or heavier boards): For large-sized or heavier carbon crystal boards, wooden crate packaging is more suitable. First, lay a layer of foam board or batten with a thickness of about 3-5cm at the bottom of the wooden box to cushion and support. Put the bound boards into the wooden box stably, and fill enough buffer materials between the boards and the inner wall of the wooden box, such as foam boards, sponges, etc., to prevent the boards from shaking in the box. Finally, securely seal the wooden box with nails or screws and clearly label the relevant information of the board on the surface of the box, including name, specifications, quantity, production date, destination, etc.

4. Identification and Warning

Product identification: Attach a product identification label in a prominent position on the packaging, indicating detailed information such as the brand, model, specifications (length, width, thickness), color, grade, etc. of the carbon crystal board, to facilitate customer identification and acceptance of the goods.

Warning signs: As needed, necessary warning signs such as "Fragile items, handle with care", "Moisture and rain proof", "Upward", etc. should be posted on the packaging to remind the handling and transportation personnel to pay attention to correct operation and storage.

5. Tray packaging (optional)

If carbon crystal plates need to be transported and stored in large quantities, pallet packaging can be used for easy handling and stacking by mechanical equipment such as forklifts. Stack the packaged carbon crystal plates on pallets, and ensure that the weight and size of the plates on each pallet meet the load-bearing capacity and usage specifications of the pallet. Then use wrapping film to wrap and fix the pallet and board as a whole, preventing the goods on the pallet from scattering during transportation.
